I bought Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 8 quite a while ago hoping that it would make it easier for me to make postings on the blog. What I didn't realize, is that I needed 512 MB in order to run the program. Well, I finally upgraded my ram and now I'm able to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
I've got to tell you, this program is absolutely amazing. In less than 30 minutes it learned my speech behavior and patterns-it is just absolutely amazing.
Tim, my brother-in-law, has this great idea that involves speech recognition. I can tell you what it is (otherwise he would have to kill me). But, with technology like this I could easily see how his idea would be possible.
